Cornerstone - Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission for Greenwood, Edgefield, McCormick and Abbeville counties in South Carolina

Intervention programs provide for the early detection and remedial action among individuals who are experiencing problems related to their use of alcohol and/or other drugs. Intervention programs offered include:

Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP): A program of education and treatment for individuals convicted of driving under the influence (DUI). State law requires successful completion of ADSAP to become eligible for re-licensing. Click here for a brochure about ADSAP.

Offender Based Intervention (OBI): Education and treatment services for individuals who are on probation or parole, have a history of alcohol and/or drug use, or, whose crimes are alcohol and/or other drug related.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): A program designed to reduce problems in the workplace. Business, industry, companies and organizations contract with Cornerstone to make counseling services available to their employees and family members. Services are at no cost to the employee and include non-substance abuse related counseling. Current EAP contractees include Park Seed Company, Self Regional Healthcare, Greenwood CPW, Greenwood Genetic Center, Emerald Center, Kaiser Aluminum, Velux, and Anderson Metals.
