Barbara is the Director of Outpatient Services and has been with Cornerstone for 32 years. She is MA, MAC, LBSW, CACII and SAP certified. Her favorite things about working at Cornerstone are the family atmosphere, supportive coworkers and the flexibility.
Cheryl is a clinical Counselor. She is CACIP certified and has been with Cornerstone for one year. She enjoys working with people and helping clients change their lives.
Claudia is a Clinical Counselor. She is MEd, MAC and CACII certified and has been with Cornerstone for 17 years. Her favorite part of working at Cornerstone is witnessing the transformation that occurs when someone accepts the message of hope and is empowered to embrace change.
Katerra is a Clinical Counselor in our Edgefield office.
Lauren is a Clinical Addictions Counselor and has been with Cornerstone for three years. She is NCACII and CAC II certified. Her favorite part of working at Cornerstone is assisting clients in finding a new way of life.
Lara is a Clinical Counselor in our Greenwood office. She has been with the agency for over a year. She graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelors in Human Services and an emphasis in Behavior Science. Lara loves getting up in the morning and coming to work. She says “my job provides me the opportunity to see lives change for the better. I am also provided the opportunity to grow in my field while working besides some great caring people.”

Nelson is a Clinical Counselor and has been with Cornerstone for 19 years. He is MA, MAC, CAC II and NCAAC certified. Here is what Nelson had to say about working at Cornerstone:
“My favorite aspect of working at Cornerstone is the opportunity it provides to impact the lives of those entering services. Sometimes this is a willing process as the person recognizes a distress in his or her life. At other times it is the result of another person or entity bringing this to attention. Regardless, in the presence of an environment that provides this opportunity and the support necessary each person has the chance to respond and consciously choose the direction of his or her life.”
Nicole is a Clinical Counselor and has been with Cornerstone for four years. She is MA, LPC and CACI certified. Her favorite part of working at Cornerstone is encouraging and empowering individuals to develop healthier lifestyles.
Nikyia is a Clinical Counselor and has been with Cornerstone for one year. She is CACI-IP certified. Here is what she had to say about working at Cornerstone:
“I enjoy working with the clients. It gives me a chance to help them help themselves overcome their addiction and succeed in other areas of their lives which may not have been possible. I also enjoy working with my co-workers. Everyone is like family and that is important to me.”
Taja has been with Cornerstone for two years as a Clinical Addictions Counselor and HIV Early Intervention Specialist. Her favorite thing about working at Cornerstone is standing alongside staff that cares about the general well-being of everyone, especially those who are serviced through the agency.
Tim is a Clinical Counselor and has been with Cornerstone for 18 years. He is CACII and NCACII certified. Tim’s favorite part of working at Cornerstone is meeting and serving people in the community along as well as working with a very capable and willing staff.
